Critical reception

Andy Kellman of AllMusic stated "[the six tracks] alternate between downcast electronic pop and bass-heavy, trap-style rap production. Somewhere between Jhené Aiko and Lorde, or perhaps better described as a slightly more pop-oriented Banks, Saulters sings each line breathily, boasting 'Gold up in my teeth, taste like money when I speak', 'So many fuckin' bands, so you know we finna blow it', and so forth. It's of-the-moment mood music, little of which sticks."

Singles

"Gold" was released as the lead single from the EP digitally on October 26, 2015, and later to Top 40 radio on May 10, 2016.

"Feels" was released on January 15, 2016, as the second single from the EP.

"Hang Up tha Phone" premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show on March 21, 2016.
