Lounge On The Farm is a music festival held annually at Merton Farm, Canterbury, Kent, which attracts thousands of visitors each year. Although there has been a vast increase in the capacity of the event, as well as the amount and quality of the performing acts, organizers insist that they keep the festival ‘non-conformist’, promoting bands and produce from Kent. The festival had been held six times, with a festival also planned for 2012.

The Horrors and Edwyn Collins have been announced to headline the Cow Shed on Friday and Sunday respectively but, as of May, no Saturday headliner has been revealed. Additions this year include the Sunday night Rockaoke where festival-goers will be able to grace the stage with a full backing band and The Meadow, a new area which aims to take festivals back to the era where festivals were all about being chilled out. The Meadow will include an open-air theatre and a petting zoo.

2010
2010 was a stellar, sun-drenched three-day extravaganza for LOTF. A wonderfully eclectic line-up saw the likes of Martha Reeves, Example, Hercules & Love Affair and Toots and the Maytals rocked Merton Farm to its core, with a great further array of acts such as Slow Club, Tunng, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, These New Puritans & DJ Yoda, The Glimmers, Gold Panda, James Yuill, whilst our superb green credentials saw the Sustainability Award come our way once more!
Notable acts
2011
Merton Farm saw 10,000 revellers roll through its gates for the very first time, and the festival introduced a new Main Stage, whilst the Cow Shed became the Dance Arena. Acts such as The Streets, Ellie Goulding, Example, Katy B, Everything Everything, The Vaccines & Echo and the Bunnymen all impressed, whilst The Meadows Stage held a deliciously eclectic bunch. Cast, Cornershop, La Shark, Syd Arthur, Spector and a host of other acts played amazing shows but the highlight for many was Graham Coxon ..
Notable acts
2012
The festival is yet again planned for another year, on 6, 7 & 8 July 2012 at Merton Farm. Due to incidents that occurred during the 2011 festival (including removal of all Youth ticket holders from the Cow Shed while Netsky (musician) was playing, sparking outrage from hundreds of young people across social networking sites), the Festival organisers have restricted the sale of youth tickets, as detailed in their terms and conditions.
A Selection of the Acts Announced as of 09/05/2012
