Little Flower Public School (or LFPS) is an unaided co-educational English medium school in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It is open to day scholars only. Founded in 1988, it is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. It is a popular K-12 school in the locality. It prepares students for the ICSE.

Academics

LFPS is a day school with classes from Kindergarten to Grade 10 that prepares students for the ICSE Board Examinations(Grade 10). The trilingual method is followed with English as the medium of instruction and Kannada/Hindi/Sanskrit as language options.

Red Ants

The school band is called the Red Ants. They have performed at the Republic Day Parade and Independence Day Parade and many more in Bengaluru

Visits

Field visits are organised for all classes, including to Kanyakumari, Kerala, Madurai, Visakhapatnam, Mekedatu, Western Ghats, Goa, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Hampi, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Jammu and Kashmir. Students are taken on field trips to sites like Torekadinahalli Water Treatment plant, Parle Factory, Unibic factory, Vidhana Soudha, Pyramid valley, City substation, Bannerghatta Biological Park, Chitrakala Parishat and the Compost Development plant.

Competitions

Little Flowers organizes inter-school and inter-house competitions. Intra-school competitions include the folk dance competition, face painting competition, cookery competition, and singing competition. Inter-house competitions include the annual Excelsior Quiz for the high school students hosted by the OSA students of the school. ARA Memorial is another annual inter-school sports meet hosted by LFPS which chess, table tennis, basketball and volleyball competitions are conducted. LFPS also hosts events of the KISA (Karnataka ICSE Schools Association). During the children's day, students compete in inter-house competitions hosted by the teaching staff.

Exhibitions

The annual Science, Art and Talents expositions are a platform for students to exhibit their talent. Halli Illi is the annual arts exhibition organized in January by the ISC students of LFPS bringing potters from Narayanapur Village - 50 km off Bangalore City on NH4.

Dance team

The Dance team have performed at events across the city. Events include the Janapada Jathre.

Dramatics team

Early productions included "Who's Clone am I?", "Ma, Baap aur Court", "Khabristan ka Ladka", "A Nation to Behold" and "Cry Cry Brethren".

Contemporary productions include "Modern Ramayana", "Hanuman's Tail setting fire to Corruption", "Julius Caesar and the return of Harry Potter", "Baba Yaga", "Salim Anarkali", "The Last Letter", "Romeo Juliet", "Benny Hinn or Sri Krishna?" and "2006: Funky Awards".

"Salim Anarkali" was performed by the batch of 2005-06 and 2006-07 at the annual Centrestage Dramatics Competition.

ECHO

ECHO is the magazine of the school. It stands for "Every Class Has an Opinion".
