Gan's Lanka Skink, Lankascincus gansi, is a species of skink endemic to island of Sri Lanka.

Habitat & Distribution
Found commonly in home gardens and forests from 30-700m in the wet climatic zones. Localities include Gampola, Deniyaya, Akuressa, Ratnapura, Sinharaja, Kuruwita, and Pallegama.
Description
Midbody scales rows 23-28. Lamellae under fourth toe are 12-16. Dorsum grayish brown with brownish black vertebral and flank stripes. Flanks are spottd with yellowish-cream. Iris is yellowish brown in color. Throat of the male is dark and venter unpatterned grayish yellow.
Ecology & Diet
Hides under logs, stones, leaf litter, becoming active and coming out for foraging in morning and at dusk, on insects.
Reproduction
Lay 1 egg laid per clutch in loose soil.
