Lance Guidry (born March 25, 1971) is an American football coach and former player. He currently serves as the head football coach at McNeese State University, a position he assumed before the 2016 season. Guidry served as the interim head football coach at Miami University for one game in 2010 and at Western Kentucky University for one game in 2012. He has gained lots of notoriety for his pre-game bowl speeches. He played college football as a defensive back at McNeese State from 1990 to 1993. During his playing days he was a 4year starter and was a two time All-Conference Defensive Back.
