La Vina (formerly, Lavina) is a census-designated place in Madera County, California. It is located 6.5 miles (10 km) south-southwest of Madera, at an elevation of 230 feet (70 m). The population was 279 at the 2010 census.

The 2010 United States Census reported that La Vina had a population of 279. The population density was 2,770.0 people per square mile (1,069.5/km²). The racial makeup of La Vina was 117 (41.9%) White, 3 (1.1%) African American, 0 (0.0%) Native American, 0 (0.0%) Asian, 0 (0.0%) Pacific Islander, 150 (53.8%) from other races, and 9 (3.2%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 265 persons (95.0%).
