History
The painting was done by Pablo Picasso in 1911. It is 33x46 centimetre (or 13x18 inch).
The painting was donated to the French state. It was last exhibited in Berlin, Germany, in 1998. It was then stored at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. However, it was stolen in 2001. In December 2014, it was sent via FedEx from Belgium to the United States with a customs indication as a Christmas present. Upon its arrival, it was seized by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Newark, New Jersey. By August 2015, it was returned to the French state.
As of 2015, it is worth an estimated US$15 million.
