Early life

Lutful Kabir Siddiqi (1939–2014), was a politician and philanthropist from Bangladesh and member of parliament.

Career

He was an elected member of parliament for four times from his constituency Sitakundo, Chittagong. He was the minister in 1978-1981 and 2001 as well as was the deputy Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament. He was involved with Bangladesh Nationalist Party since inception and till his departure, He was born on 15 of April 1939 in South Rahmatnagar under Muradpur Union of Shitakundo Thana of Chittagong division. His father was Abul Monsur Lutfe Ahmed Siddiqui.

Siddiqi died on 1 August 2014.
