László ([ˈlaːsloː]) is a Hungarian male given name and surname after the King-Knight Saint Ladislaus I of Hungary (1077–1095). Other versions are Laszlo, Lazlo or Laszly and it is frequently anglicized as Leslie. It originates from the original Slavic version of the name, Vladislav, which means 'one who owns a glory'.
