Kusum Dola is an Indian Bengali show which airs on most popular Bengli Entertainment first HD channel Star Jalsha.

It premiered on Star Jalsha at 22 August. It is telecasting on everyday at 7 pm. This daily soap is produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures. Rishi Kaushik is playing main lead role as Ronojoy, a police officer and Madhumita Sarkar is playing female lead role as Imon.

Plot

Imon is the daughter of a local police officer and she has come from outside the village and this area a higher new police officer joins. Imon's village people arrange the welcome ceremony for the new police officer. Terrorist attacks the village and Imon's father got shot by them. imon blames the new police officer for that. What will happen? How will they come closer? Kusum Dola is a story of three lives, Ronojoy, Imon and Rupkatha, whose lives gets changed after certain incidents. Imon, the daughter of police officer Jayanta Mukherjee lives in Sundarpur where her father is posted. But Imon is everyday stalked and teased by Gogna, a local spoilt brat. Jayanta warned Gogna for teasing her daughter. Gogna too threats him. On the other side, Ronojoy an IPS officer lives in Kolkata with his joint family where people have different thoughts. On a trip to Jaisalmer, Ronojoy meets Rupkatha and both develop a soft corner for each other and starts liking but they can’t express their feelings. Ronojoy get posted in Sundarpur and due to some circumstances Jayanta dies for which Imon blames Ronojoy for her father’s death. Orphan Imon gets married to Ronojoy. But both can’t accept each other as husband and wife and Imon comes to Kolkata finally. Imon fights with Ronojoy's family because they are prejudiced and bigoted and they favour Rupkatha who had married Ronojoy's brother, an Army Officer who fled on the night of their wedding. Rupkatha wants Ronojoy but Ronojoy wants Imon which angers Roopkatha because she does not possess a shred of rationale to not pursue a married man, moreover, one who has betrayed her before and fallen in love with his newly married wife. Will Imon accept Ronojoy and forgive him?How will these three lives overcome these situations?
