In Ugadi festival there will be a Procession (Jaatara, Tirunallu) for week long till Sri Raama Navami at Sri Lord venkateshwara Temple and other Temples in village. As per mythology the God Lord Venkateshwara Swami, dwelling on KOOCHADRI SHRINE since l,300 year.
In this procession Bullock Carts are decorated with colour and different cloths and go around the Sri Kuchadri venkateshwara Swami Shrine on first day.
On later days same procession will be done to the other Gods and Goddesses such as Bhetala Swami, Bhairav Swami and Village Goddesses.
on Last day of Jaatara the Iron Chariot will be taken out to parade before the Lord Sri Venkateswara Swami and the Idols are Kept on the Top of Iron Chariot and make the conclusion procession.
One Should not miss UGADI Festival in this village. Many devotees and public will visit this village especially at the time of UGADI.
Many devotees regularly visit the Temple of Lord Sri Venkateshwara Temple on weekends and offer their Pooja and stays for night at the temple as the custom. Many devotees believe that The lord Venkateshwara Swami will solve their problem if they offer pooja and offer stay at shrine for one night. This Temple is also known as "ANCIENT TIRUMALA"
