Etymology

The train is named after the Krishna river which flows from the city of Vijayawada and the train was first started from there itself. Later, it was extended up to Secunderabad and Nizamabad now up to Adilabad.

Route

This train runs via Mudkhed, Secunderabad, Vijayawada and Gudur. The train starts at 20:45/8:45 PM at Adilabad and reaches tirupati at 21.25. The return journey of this train starts from Tirupati Main at 05:25 hrs and reaches Adilabad the next day at 06:15 hrs.
