Kotla Mughlan is a union council of Jampur Tehsil, Rajanpur District, Pakistan, situated 10 kilometers southeast of Jampur.In the south east of The town,there is Muhammad pur Dewan.It is at the edge of Indus.Mirza ,bodla,sonara(zargar) are main political parties of this area.Famous political personality in this area is from mirza family named as Mirza Mehboob Sikandar s/o Mirza Abdul kareem .In east of kotla mughlan is haero,in west is Muhammad pur ,in north is kotla dewaan,and in south is boola wala.Mostly people speak saraiki language here but punjabi,balochi is also used in daily routine by people of kotla mughlan. Orignal name(with diacritics)=kotla mughlan Geo mughlan. In 1985,and 2010 flood completely destroyed the town.
