Kot Chutta (Urdu: كوٹ چهُٹّہ‎), is a tehsil, an administrative subdivision, of Dera Ghazi Khan District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is a part of [[Dera Ghazi Khan District. Kot Chutta situated at Famous Indus Highway. Chutta Khan Gurmani a trible sirdar of Gurmani Baloch tribe who found this area at the same time when Haji Khan Mirrani settled in Dera Ghazi Khan. Majority Baloch Tribes are settled in this area some are, Birmani,Leghari, Gurmani, Mehroani, Malana, Talpur,Hajana, Kachela,Buzdar,Dadoani, Mastoi, Jatoi, Ahmedani, Chandia, Changwani, Lashari, Warya,Khosa, Syed, Rajpot, Loadhi, Arain, Mirani,Abreened,Sandila and lot of other tribes living in Kot Chutta tehsil.
