Kojo Brown (born November 23, 1993 in Ghana) is an Australian footballer, who last played for Sunshine George Cross. He is also a member of the Ghana national under-23 football team.

Early life

Brown was born in Accra, Ghana to Ghanaian Parents but moved to Australia at the age of 6, he started playing football at the age of 5 and was originally discovered by FC Bulleen Lions upon his move to australia. His father Paa Brown was a well recognized percussion drummer in ghana who migrated to Australia. Brown holds both Ghanaian and Australian Passports and attended Rowville Sports Academy for his secondary schooling.

Club career

Brown began his career with the FC Bulleen Lions as a junior in the Npl Victoria where he attracted attention with his wonderful display of skill and technique.

In the year of 2008 browns talents were recognized by the Victorian state Development Squad and he was chosen to represent them at the national youth games, in which he scored 3 goals in 5 appearances. At the end of the 2008 youth games brown returned to FC Bulleen Lions where he made his senior debut at age 16, after his successful season where he made 9 appearances scoring 2 goals he made the switch to fellow NPL side Moreland Zebras FC. After having a difficult time adjusting to life at a new club brown was pick up by NPL side Sunshine George Cross FC, Brown had an great season where he made 15 appearances scoring 4 goals.

International career

Prior to the end of the 2014/2015 season following his impressive displays he was called up to the Ghana U23. He continues to be represent Ghana.
