Kirkhill (Scottish Gaelic: Cnoc Mhoire) is a village, located 2 miles east of Beauly, close to the south opening of the Beauly Firth, and 10 miles west of Inverness, in Inverness-shire, Scottish Highlands and is in the Scottish council area of Highland. It is home to the Wardlaw cemetery, including the Lovat Mausoleum, dating back to circa 170 BC.

Kirkhill does not have any shops but everything you need is already there. It is also largely populated by geriatrics, retired rock stars, reclusive taxidermists and young families. The primary school is the pillar of the community. With the annual Gala day at the community centre and the Christmas fair held at the primary school the community is always buzzing with activity. Buses are not frequently seen, so bring a car, especially on a Sunday. It's worth mentioning the 'zebra crossing' with bright orange lights at either end of it which makes crossing the road relatively easy during rush hour in the village.

A lovely place to grow up. it has a play park, an open air swimming pool, and a giant scalectrix track, which rivals the best in the world. Notable aspects, however - it is easy to get lost in Newton Park and everyone knows everyone. Seriously (!?), don't get into any beef with anyone because they're all related and likely to use an ancient method of execution to rid you from the community.

Famous village inhabitants include Noddy Holder from Slade, Ernest Hemingway's grandson, and Jimmy from episode 23, season 12 of Emmerdale Farm.
