King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents in Concert is a live solo album by John Entwistle, Who was the bassist for English rock band The Who.

Contents

In March 1975, John Entwistle embarked on a five-week tour of the United States, opening for Humble Pie. They recorded one of the shows for broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour.

Recorded live at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, the show included solo material, as well as classic Who tracks written by John Entwistle. The tour was in support of the Mad Dog album because sales were poor.

It was produced, mixed, and mastered by Jon Astley and Andy Macpherson. They only played one song which was from John Entwistle's current album ("Cell Number 7" about The Who's arrest at Montreal, Canada in 1974), but included classic Who songs written by John Entwistle such as "Heaven and Hell", "My Wife" and "Whiskey Man." Other highlights included "My Size" and a cover version of Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away." As a bonus track, they included an interview with the late John Entwistle, conducted by Steve Luongo (who worked on his next solo album "Music From Van-Pires") and Bobby Pridden. The album by many Ox fans had compared this album to The Who's live album Live At Leeds as it was remastered by the same personnel who remastered Live At Leeds.
