Khadda (کھڈّا) is a town and a nagar panchayat and tehsil in Kushinagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.It is situated near about 8 km from border of Bihar and 18 km from border of Nepal.This is an entrance gate of Bihar and Nepal. The famous river which is called Badi Gandak is situated just 3 KM from Khadda Town. The Kali Gandaki or Gandaki River (also known as the Narayani in southern Nepal and the Gandak in India) is one of the major rivers of Nepal and a left bank tributary of the Ganges in India. It is also called Krishna Gandaki in Nepal and Narayani River in India. Khadda is having Sugar factory, Government Intermediate colleges and a Post- Graduate college as well.

Geography
Khadda is well connected with NH 28B.This highway is connected from Kushinagar and goes towards Bihar and Nepal. Khadda is one of the highest producer of sugarcane , banana, wheat and Rice.It is also known for the different types of its agricultural land as 70% population in Khadda dependent on farming and production of these products.The sugarcane factory is situated in Khadda itself since 1949. Khadda is also having a pleasant weather and a famous place Named as JATASHANKAR POKHRA which is situated just in the heart of this beautiful town.Every year in the month of November the famous festival named as Chatth Pooja is celebrated at JATASHANKAR POKHRA and people from different places come and participate in this festival. The production of Banana is very famous here and it is exported to different parts of INDIA and in different cities in all over world. Khadda is also known for the high milk production from its nearby 35 villages and the total production on average per day is 50,000 liter.
Agriculture
Khadda Is also a agriculture hub. It it famous for Sugar Can,but now a day here Banana is very popular. Appro 200 Hectare area is used for Banan. Khadda is having the largest vegetable market, and Fruit like Mango, Banana,Guava, etc compare to its surrounding towns and different kind of fresh vegetables are exported to Bihar, Nepal and Gorakhpur city.

Pathleswar Nath Temple(SHIV TEMPLE)- This is an ancient temple of Lord Shiva. Distance – 5 Km from Khadda.
Paniyahawa Bridge- It’s a railway cum NH road bridge connecting Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Nepal.Its also known as Mini Goa of Khadda. People mostly visit this place as picnic spot and Fish curry is the famous food available here. A special kind of Silver fish (local name is Chepua) is found in this region. Distance is 8 Km from Khadda.
Madanpur Devi Temple- This temple belongs to goddess Durga. It is one of the famous temples in this region and people from different states and places comes here in the month of April and October in Navratri season and gets blessing of Mata Rani. Distance is 13 Km from Khadda.
Valmiki Tiger Reserve-This is situated in the forest of Bihar and tiger breeding done here. This forest is having different kind of animals and birds and full of greeneries and herbal plants .Distance is 16 Km from Khadda.
