Kırklareli Atatürk Primary School (Kırklareli Atatürk İlköğretim Okulu in Turkish) is a primary school which is located in Kırklareli, Turkey and established in 1968. Each student spend eight years in this school. School's colors are claret red and dark blue.

History

When the building of the school started, the volunteers created a secondary school plan. The school started to education as "Merkez Ortaokulu" (Center Secondary School). Than, a new school, a primary school was opened in the same garden by volunteers. The second school was "Kırklareli Atatürk İlkokulu" (Kırklareli Atatürk Primary School). After eight years, that two schools united and principals of tw schools decided to make new school's name "Kırklareli Atatürk İlköğretim Okulu" (Kırklareli Atatürk Primary School). After this unitation, the school became the most popular and successful school in Kırklareli. Now, the school has three sport fields, three laboratories, a music room, an information technology room and 45 classrooms.

Lessons

Lessons of this school are the same as the other primary schools in Turkey. The first foreign language is English and education is in Turkish language.

Location

The school is located in Karacaibrahim Mahallesi, a parish. That parish is far from the center of the city so some of the students use buses or their own cars to go to school.

Teachers & Students

There are approximately 1500 students and 70 teachers in this school. In the school garden, there are four buildings and classrooms are located these buildings.
