Juan Dominguez Palermo (c.1560–1635) was an Italian conquistador and settler of Buenos Aires during the Viceroyalty of Peru. His name carries one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, Palermo.

Biography

Juan Dominguez Palermo had arrived at Rio de la Plata in 1585 from Sicily, his hometown. His wife was Isabel Gómez de Saravia, descendant of Miguel Gómez de la Puerta.
