Royal is an established commercial director and composer. Additionally, he is recognized for his associated compositions and recording sessions with record producers Jeordie White aka Twiggy Ramirez, Sean Beavan, Lee Miles, Zach Webb, and Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K.

As an entrepreneur, Royal is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of creative advertising agency Dragon Creative, and had been the CEO of creative advertising agencies The Realm, and Luthier Society, and the Chief Marketing Officer of New York-based advertising agency Indelible Media.

Royal's work as a novelist deals primarily with the occult. Alongside the novel, Royal is also working on new material for release from Black Lodge, and a screenplay for a mystery thriller film tentatively titled Let There Be Light, which is based on events taken directly from the transcribed manuscripts of the controversial secret society known as the Illuminati.
