John Perdue (born June 22, 1950) has been the 24th State Treasurer of West Virginia, United States since his election in 1996. He was an unsuccessful candidate in the West Virginia gubernatorial election, 2011. Perdue is a member of the Democratic Party. As of August 2017, he is currently the only elected Democrat holding statewide office in West Virginia.
