John Clarke is a Canadian anti-poverty activist.

A native of Britain, he moved to Toronto and became an organizer there. He is a leading figure of the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty (OCAP) group; the Globe & Mail reported in the year 2000 that Clarke's "guerrilla activism has pitted him against police countless times during the past decade." In 2016, the Sudbury Star described Clarke as "a 25-year veteran of activism."
