Joël Drogba (born 17 May 1985 in Abidjan) is an Ivorian footballer, who plays as a striker.

Career
Drogba has previously played for French side Metz, and Le Mans. He had trials with German team St. Pauli, Vietnamese club Bình Dương F.C. and Croatian club NK Zagreb. In March 2007, he had a trial with English League 1 club Leyton Orient. However, the club declined to offer the young striker a professional contract. He returned to Zagreb but no contract was offered, and then joined Metalurg Donetsk in 2007, but left the following year and has been without a club ever since.
Personal life
Joёl is the younger brother of striker, and former Cote d'Ivoire captain Didier Drogba, He has another brother, Freddy Drogba, who plays with Dijon FCO.
