Jiaruipu Temple(Chinese: 加蚋埔公廨; pinyin: Jiā'nàpŭ Gōngxiè; Zhuyin Fuhao: ㄐㄧㄚ ㄋㄚˋ ㄆㄨˇ ㄍㄨㄥ ㄒㄧㄝˋ),is a Makatao(馬卡道族) temple in Gaoshu Township, Pingtung, Taiwan.

History

The temple is in the northeast of Taishan Vill., Gaoshu Township, it's in the middle of farms. It's local Makatao people's religious center.

4/16/2011, Gaoshu, Neipu, Wanluan's Makatao people protest in here. They want the CIP claim they are Pingpu indigenous(平埔族), and they will the creation of Makatao Association.

Name

"The temple name was 'A-mu House'(阿姆寮), "Pan Jinxiu said to Liu Huanyue, but Siraya people named it to Gongxie(公廨).
