Coaching career

Mynatt was the head college football coach in eastern Kentucky for the Pikeville Bears located in Pikeville, Kentucky. He held that position for 3 seasons, from 2003 until 2005. His coaching record at Pikeville was 20 wins and 12 losses. Finishing his last 2 seasons with 16 wins and 4 losses and the school's first ever and only playoff bid. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #1 at Pikeville in total wins and #1 at the school in winning percentage (.625).
