Geography
Jaldhaka is located at 26.0167°N 89.0250°E / 26.0167; 89.0250 . It has 45456 households and total area 303.52 km².

Notable residents
Saad Mohammad Hassan Siddiqui: famous hydrologist of Bangladesh. He graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), had his M.S. from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, and later became a Professional Engineer (PEng). He is the grandson of noted Islamic scholar Poshchima Molobi. Currently he is the chief hydrolost of Institute of Water Modelling (IWM), Dhaka.
