Iselin Steiro

Iselin Vollen Steiro (born 15 September 1985) is a Norwegian model. She grew up in Harstad in the northern part of Norway. Steiro was discovered in 1999 while Christmas shopping with her parents in London. She began her fashion career in 2003 by working for Prada and Calvin Klein in her first season.

She lived in New York City for two years, where she modelled full-time. After being photographed by Steven Meisel for the August 2006 cover of Vogue Italia she enrolled at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, majoring in architecture. While studying architecture full time, she continued to model for campaigns such as Valentino's Spring 2007 collection with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, TSE Cashmere's Spring 2007 collection with photographer David Sims Missoni's Fall 2008 collection with Steven Meisel. During this period of study Steven Meisel also photographed Iselin for Vogue Italia's September 2006 "State Of Emergency" editorial, July 2007 "Supermodels Enter Rehab" editorial, Missoni's Fall 2008 campaign, and Lanvin's Spring 2009 campaign. She is represented by Women Model Management in New York, Paris, and Milan. Her mother agency is Team Models in Oslo, Norway.

During the spring 2010 Fashion Week, Iselin made a return to the runway, modelling in 20 fashion shows. In New York, Iselin modelled for Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Phi, Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Tommy Hilfiger, which she closed, and Rag & Bone, which she opened. After skipping the London Fashion Week, and modelling exclusively for Prada in Milan, Iselin went on to model for designers such as Balenciaga, Balmain, Valentino, Chanel, Givenchy, Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant, Celine, Chloé, and Nina Ricci, where she closed the show. In 2013 she played the young David Bowie in his music video "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)".

Today she also works as a co-designer for the wool basics line Le Backhand
