Isabella, who stands 1.73 m (5 ft 8 in) tall, competed as the representative of Pichincha, one of 21 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Ecuador 2009, broadcast live on March, 2009 from Portoviejo, Manabí, where she obtained the Best Hair award and became the eventual the 2nd Runner-up, gaining the right to represent Ecuador in Miss International 2009.
