Ioan Biris

Ioan Biris is a University Professor at the West University of Timișoara, Department of Philosophy and Communication Sciences, Romania. He studied philosophy (B. Sc., 1976) at the Babes-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca. Secondary studies in sociology. Ph D in Philosophy (1989) and Ph D in Sociology (2000). Ioan Biris is known for his research in the areas: philosophy of science, analytic philosophy, ontology and apllied logic.
