The FAIR School was selected as a charter member of the 2012 Ramp-Up to Readiness network of schools. The University of Minnesota congratulated FAIR School on its commitment to increasing the number of diversity of Minnesota students who graduate from high school with the knowledge, skills and habit for success in higher education.

Awarded to FAIR School Downtown from the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals, Hennepin Division (MASSP) because of our innovative approach to education.

2008 U.S. Department of Education Innovations in Education Guide for Creating and Sustaining Successful K-8 Magnet Schools

In 2008, FAIR School Crystal was highlighted in the U.S. Department of Education guide on Creating and Sustaining Successful Magnet Schools as one of the six schools nationally that serve as models for K-8 programs. The recognition marks FAIR Crystal’s success in showing evidence of strong academic achievement as well as success in reducing minority group isolation for at least four years.
