The Creighton University College of Business was renamed to the Heider College of Business on October 23, 2013 to acknowledge donations from Charles F. Heider and Mary C. Heider of Omaha. This college became the first named school at Creighton University. The Heiders’ gift to the College of Business Ignite the Greatness campaign helped expand and enhance the college’s space on campus and is allocated to support students, faculty and the efforts to increase enrollment, in response to the rising demand for business graduates.
