Professional wrestling career

Jackson helped open the first official pro wrestling school in South Australia called the Monster Factory, with Col Dervany as the head trainer. Hartley has competed domestically and internationally, particularly in Japan.

Trainer

In 2002, a group of aspiring wrestlers from Perth – where there was no wrestling school at the time - traveled to South Australia and trained under Col Dervany, Bruce Mills and Hartley Jackson. In 2003, Jag and Havok ventured to Perth on multiple occasions to wrestle for Explosive Pro Wrestling, as well as become guest instructors and help further train the EPW roster and train wrestlers like Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste (TMDK). Hartley Jackson later opened a new training centre in Adelaide called Pro Wrestling Dojo.

NJPW

In 2005, Hartley Jackson made his first trip to the USA. He lived and trained at New Japan Pro Wrestling's dojo in Los Angeles, California, where he trained in pro wrestling alongside Fergal Devitt, Rocky Romero, Alex Koslov and Karl Anderson. Jackson teamed with Mikey Nicholls in 2006 on a New Japan show against Minoru Tanaka and Hirooki Goto at the Korakuen Hall.

Zero1

In 2010, Hartley Jackson signed for a 6-week tour with Zero1 Japan and formed a tag team with Steve Corino. Both Hartley and Corino faced Akebono and Otani in a World Tag Team Title Match in April, narrowly losing the encounter. During the course of the tour, Hartley Jackson feuded with Kanemura and they faced off in a Strap Match at Korakuen Hall.
