Gridiron NSW (formerly NSW Gridiron Football League, abbreviated NSWGFL, until 2007) is the governing body for gridiron (American football) in the state of New South Wales, Australia.

Contents

The Gridiron NSW season consists of 4 divisions; Division 1, Womens, Colts and Juniors.

Finalists of the league participate in the Waratah Bowl (Div1) Opal Bowl (Women's) and the Kookaburra Bowl (Colts) also known as the State Finals.

Players across the league are selected to form the NSW Wolfpack, Coyotes and Wolverines teams which play in the Australian Gridiron League National Championships.

The team with the most Waratah Bowl championships is the Sydney University Lions with eighteen. The current Waratah Bowl champions are the Sydney University Lions, who defeated the West Sydney Pirates 20–19 in the 2016 Waratah Bowl.
