Joujon-Roche has trained a number of well known celebrities, usually for films that have required a dramatic transformation from the actor or actress. Notable past clients have included Tobey Maguire for Spider-Man, Demi Moore for G.I. Jane, and Brad Pitt for Troy. Both Maguire and Pitt have stated that their pre-production training with Joujon Roche was about six months, six days a week for two to three hours a day. Joujon-Roche would assemble about a dozen people to monitor different aspects of the training, such as a nutritionist, a masseuse, a martial artist, and yoga instructor. The weight training for the actors has been described as targeting a different muscle part each day and not moving on until they had 'killed it' and reached a sufficient level of soreness.
