Established in 2007, green vision media (GVM) is a Canadian, Montréal-headquartered, software development and multi-media solutions company. The company specializes in the development and integration of content-rich, user-centric software applications, principally for mobile platforms such as iOS and Android.

Contents

green vision media provides custom development for its clients as well as licenses and markets its own proprietary products and technologies.

Products & Technologies

One of green vision media's own proprietary technologies is 'James: Lifestyle Concierge', which is a personal mobile concierge service offered to hotel guests. The application allows users to explore the hotel and its amenities, as well as explore the city they are visiting. The cross-platform application also allows users to view menus, make reservations and send digital postcards; even when they are not at the hotel.

'James' was piloted in 2008 at W Hotel:Montréal, and released on the App Store (iOS) on April 29, 2010.

On November 7, 2010 green vision media launched an application for Black's Photography on the App Store (iOS) and Android Market, which was compatible with iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets. The application allows users to import or take, edit and order photo prints directly from their mobile devices.

green vision media also released applications for Peppers Broadbeach Hotel in Australia, and Virgin Holidays in various cities and hotels across the world including Dubai (Atlantis, The Palm), Ras al-Khaimah (Hilton Hotels) and Barbados (Waves Hotel).

Award

In 2009, green vision media was awarded "Best company in the ICT sector for its suite of mobile applications integrated into hotel rooms" at the first edition of the Tremblant Venture Forum.
