Gertak Sanggul is a village in Southwest Penang Island District, Penang, Malaysia. The main ethnic group in this village is Chinese with a small number of Malays. The Chinese names of this village are MeiHu (美湖/ 'beautiful lake'), or WeiHu (尾湖) in Chinese Dialects. It is a fishing village; there is also pig farming. A Chinese primary school located there, SJK (C) Poi Eng (Chinese: 槟城美湖培英小学).
