Georgia's 6th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Georgia. It was represented by Republican Tom Price until he was sworn in as Secretary of Health and Human Services on February 10, 2017. A special election will be held to fill the vacant seat. The district's boundaries have been redrawn following the 2010 census, which granted an additional congressional seat to Georgia. The first election using the new district boundaries (listed below) was the 2012 congressional elections.

The district consists of many of the northern suburbs of Atlanta and includes portions of eastern Cobb County, northern Fulton County, and northern Dekalb County. The district includes all or portions of the cities of Roswell, Johns Creek, Tucker, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Doraville, and Dunwoody.

    Georgia's 6th Congressional District has existed since the 29th Congress (1845–1847), the first Congress in which U.S. Representatives were elected from districts rather than at-large. Georgia gained a sixth U.S. Representative for the first time in the 13th Congress (1813–1815). The district was represented by former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich from 1979 to 1999.

    The District has been represented by a Republican consistently since 1979, the longest in the state.
