George Douglas Wahl (October 15, 1895—March 24, 1981) was a Brigadier General in the United States Army.

Biography
Wahl was born in New Orleans on October 15, 1895. His father was Major General Lutz Wahl. Wahl died on March 24, 1981.
Career
Wahl graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1917. As a member of the 12th Field Artillery Regiment during World War I he received the Purple Heart and three awards of the Silver Star.
In the 1920s and 1930s he served in the Field Artillery, and was assigned to command and staff positions at posts including Fort Leavenworth, Fort Bliss, and Fort Sill. He graduated from the United States Army Command and General Staff College in 1930, the Army Industrial College in 1939, and the Naval War College in 1940.
At the start of World War II he commanded the 191st Field Artillery Regiment. During the war he served in Europe as commander of the 79th Infantry Division Artillery and assistant division commander, and received the Bronze Star Medal and Legion of Merit.
After the war, Wahl commanded the Fort Indiantown Gap Separation and Discharge Center, Fort Knox, and the Oregon Military District, a subordinate command of the Sixth United States Army. He retired in 1949.
He died in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California on March 24, 1981 and was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
