Garcinia gardneriana

Garcinia gardneriana (Bacupari) is an evergreen, dioecious species of the genus Garcinia. It is distributed throughout South America's Amazon Basin and produces fruit with edible arils. In Brazil there is currently research to use this fruit to combat cancer.
