Felix Feodosidi (Greek: Φήλιξ Θεοδοσίδης) was born July 31, 1933 in Kislovodsk. He is one of the oldest wine makers in Ukraine, Honored Worker of viticulture and winemaking of Crimea, an activist of the local Greek community.

Biography

Felix Feodosidi was born July 31, 1933 in a Pontic Greek family in Kislovodsk. His ancestors, fleeing from the Greek genocide in 1915-1916 moved to Greece. His grandfather ended his hard life here. His father was Pericle Feliksovich Feodosidi (1891-1968), who came from the city of Kars, and his mother was Sophia Fedorovna Fulidi (1895-1964). His father was an educated managing man, he held positions of responsibility. Despite the post and hard work, he experienced the repressive policies of Joseph Stalin. In 1944, as director of a mechanized bakery in Kislovodsk, was sent to Georgievsk, where it was necessary to survive in difficult circumstances. In 1953 his father was rehabilitated.

Felix passed his childhood years in the Greek environment in the city of Kislovodsk, where he got his high school degree. After high school, he enrolled in Praskoveysky college of viticulture and winemaking and graduated in 1954. After ending the college he worked in wine production Suvorovsky-Beshtau in the Stavropol Kray and in the farm-factory "Theodosia" in Feodosiya city. He took such posts as: technologist, winemaker and head of production, manager of production.

Since 1965, Felix Feodosidi works at the farm-factory Koktebel as chief of department of primary winemaking, and since April 1969 and till this day - Chief Engineer - winemaker. From 1970 to 1976 Felix Periklovich attended the Crimean Agricultural Institute. He systematically improve their skills in educational institutions and abroad, liaising directly with the institute of viticulture and winemaking Magarach.

  • Felix Periklovich is one of the most famous wine makers in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, the master, who personally created many recipes of fine wines and cognacs later became classics. Having worked in the wine cellars of the plant vintage wines and cognacs Koktebel here for sixty years, he has directly participated in the creation of many wines and cognacs. One of them is the famous cognac "Kutuzov", which according to its qualities, not only surpassed the French Napoleon, and entered into the treasury of world heritage wine and art.
