His first solo exhibition was in 2008 at Deitch Projects, New York City, where his artworks were described as "extremely flat sculptures".

He has also produced a denim collection for The Hole gallery in New York, to accompany an exhibition that also included an ice sculpture and a modern version of a still life made of electric guitar, skull, and metronome.
