Dr. Jon Hurst was the principal of EHS for over 10 years. However, at the end of the 2015-2016 school year, during the last pep rally of the year, he announced his retirement to the student body and said, "I want to get out of here before I die!" A crown was placed on his head and he led the senior class of 2015-2016 out of the gym.
Robbin Hamilton, formerly an assistant principal at EHS, took Dr. Hurst's place as principal along with Sarah Arredondo
