El Cajon Transit Center is a San Diego Trolley station in El Cajon, California. It marks the eastern terminus of the Orange Line while the Green Line continues northward to Arnele Avenue to its terminus at Santee Town Center. The next station south is Amaya Drive. The stop is a major commuter center for the large suburb, allowing individuals to switch buses or rail lines, use park and ride services, or board regional Greyhound Buses.

Contents

Prior to September 2, 2012, all Orange Line trolleys used to continue through this station to Gillespie Field (Santee Town Center before July 2005 when service was switched over to Green Line) until a system redesign shortened the line's eastern terminus to this station. However, if an Orange Line trolley is unable to successfully turn around at El Cajon Transit Center, it will travel to Arnele Avenue and turn around for scheduling purposes and convenience of some riders.
