The Edel Live is a South Korean single-place, paraglider that was designed and produced by Edel Paragliders of Gwangju. It is now out of production.

Design and development

The Live was designed as an intermediate glider. The models are each named for their relative size.

Operational history

In a 2003 review Reviewer Noel Bertrand reported that Live has proven very commercially successful.

Variants

Live S
Small-sized model for light-weight pilots. Its wing has an area of 24.71 m2 (266.0 sq ft), 42 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.35:1. The pilot weight range is 70 to 95 kg (154 to 209 lb). The glider model is DHV 1-2 certified.
Live M
Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 12.10 m (39.7 ft) span wing has a wing area of 27.3 m2 (294 sq ft), 42 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.35:1. The pilot weight range is 80 to 105 kg (176 to 231 lb). The glider model is DHV 1-2 certified.
Live L
Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its wing has an area of 29.61 m2 (318.7 sq ft), 42 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.35:1. The pilot weight range is 100 to 125 kg (220 to 276 lb). The glider model is DHV 1-2 certified.
