Geographic distribution

Abudefduf concolor is found in the Eastern Pacific, from El Salvador to Peru, including the Galapagos, Cocos and Malpelo Islands.

Ecology

This species is found in shallow Marine reef (primarily rocky inshore reefs exposed to wave action) habitats up to five meters in depth.
