History

The club have been an affiliated member of basketballscotland since their formation in 1986, and for many years the club was the only national and local league basketball team in Fife.

In their 12 seasons of National League basketball, the team has generally struggled. Between 2010 and 2016, the team failed to qualify for the post season playoffs, usually reserved for the top eight teams out of a league of 10 or 12.

Their duck was broken in 2017, when they reached the playoffs for the first time, finishing 8th in the league on the head-to-head between themselves and Edinburgh University.

However, the club has always maintained and developed a strong junior program with age group teams competing in their respective National League divisions.

Former Players

Former GB international centre Robert Archibald started his career at Dunfermline Reign.

Home Venue

The club moved its home games to St Columba's RC High School in 2014 after the school won in its bid for a court removed from the London 2012 Olympic basketball site. The same floor was the one that former player Robert Archibald ended his playing career on at the 2012 Olympics.
