Dumkata (English: A Tale of a Tail!) is a Hindi comedy film released in 2007 and directed by Amol Palekar. The film stars Om Puri, Anjana Basu and Sachin Khedekar in lead roles. Shernaz Patel and Aseen Desai have important supporting roles in the film. The film was only released in India and the UK in 2007, but in the rest of the world it was released in 2010, since it had been postponed.

Plot
This story is about a boy (Khush Malik), his big brother (Aseen Desai), his mom (Shernaz Patel), his dad (Sachin Khedekar), his grandfather (Om Puri) and his friends . Dum Kata made only about Rs.342,000 at the box office. It was declared not a flop but a 'disaster' by Box Office India due to the lacklustre business.
