Biography
Ali Samadi Ahadi was born in 1972 in Tabriz, Iran. during Iran-Iraq War, at the age of 12 he escaped alone from home to avoid being killed in the war. He took his Abitur in Hannover and studied sociology and electronic media in Hannover. He has been working as an independent scriptwriter, director and editor. His documentary Africa Mayibuye had its premiere at the filmfestival of Mannheim. His music documentary film Culture Clan was nominated for the Rose d'Or 2005 at the Montreux film festival.
