Douglas "Doug" Edwards (born January 21, 1971) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1st round (15th overall) of the 1993 NBA Draft. Edwards played for the Hawks and Vancouver Grizzlies in 3 NBA seasons, averaging 2.4 ppg. He played collegiately at Florida State University. Edwards gained his nickname "Doughboy" while playing in Vancouver as a result of his soft play on the court, and supposed infatuation with the local Tim Hortons doughnut chain. On September 10, 2008, Frank Martin announced the addition of Edwards to his coaching staff at Kansas State University.

On September 10, 2008, head coach Frank Martin of the Kansas State Wildcats announced the hire of Edwards as Director of Athlete Development. Edwards brings the experience of a high-level recruit and NBA player to K-State, as well as adding to an already strong recruiting presence in Florida. Edwards played under Martin at Miami Senior High School.
